You can also use bobby and distant horizons at the sametime. For example set your actual render distance to 16, then bobby's max render distance to 512 and set the distant horizons to also 512. And voila, your game now loads the LOD chunks of distant horizons in multiplayer. Distant horizons also support some shaders, like BSL for example, just set the right settings for distant horizons and it will work perfectly.

DH has shader support now and Bobby doesn’t use LOD’s

There's also a mod called farsight that does the same thing as Bobby. Works well for me

Distant Horizon has three pretty good sharders

Bobby + Nvidium is pure luxury but the only downside is no support for shaders ofc because it's mesh technology

I've tried both and yes, bobby can supports shaders way easier, but bobby will never reach the distances that DH can reach. We are talking about 100 chunks with bobby and 500-1000 with DH

I want to be able to see far so i agree but having to wait even hours maybe days to see it? No just get c2me and bobby then you’ll be able to get high render distances with shaders but of course not as high as distant horizons but you dont have to wait a millin years for it to load
